Hello,

I am a teacher, learner, and artist based in Grand Rapids, MI. I lead my life with curiosity and focus on interconnectivity.

I lead a choice-based classroom. Students get to explore their interests and develop their voice through open-ended prompts. I believe students should be aware of the art world and that it exists beyond a classroom. My students have a broad exposure to different artists and art mediums. Within a structured framework, students play with different mediums and explore different outcomes.

In my own process, I leap from mediums like painting and printmaking to sewing and crochet. My art is informed by the artwork I was surrounded with in my house in Grand Rapids, MI.
