Printmaking
In a unit I designed and implemented on my own, students learned the basics on relief, intaglio, and collagraph printmaking. Students then applied their knowledge to create their own choice piece that reflected an aspect on nature.

Paper Hat Project
Students worked on creating paper hats to practice 3D construction. A local professional photographer was brought in to help students document their creations and learn about photography as a profession.

Field Trip to the GRAM
Students learned about Jim Henson in class and then took a field trip to the Grand Rapids Art Museum to see his work up close during a traveling exhibition.
